  74.         REGISTRATION & SUPPORT

  76.            Please refer to the  VINO:FILE manual (VINOFILE.TXT) and the
  77.            registration form VINOFILE.REG for details of the Shareware
  78.            License and how to register VINO:FILE.

  81.         INSTALLING VINO:FILE
  82.  
  83.            VINO:FILE is distributed on two DS-DD 5.25" disks or one
  84.            DS-DD 3.5" diskette.

  86.            To  install  the  VINO:FILE  Cellar  Master  program
  87.            from floppy disks:
  88.                 *    make a copy of the VINO:FILE disk(s) before installing;
  89.                 *    place Disk 1 in your floppy disk drive;
  90.                 *    run the install procedure by typing
  91.                                'A:INSTALL'
  92.                      assuming that your floppy disk is drive A.
  93.  
  94.            To  install  the  VINO:FILE  Cellar  Master  program
  95.            MANUALLY from floppy disks (if the above does not work):
  96.                 *    make a copy of the VINO:FILE disk(s) before installing;
  97.                 *    place Disk 1 in your floppy disk drive;
  98.                 *    perform the install procedure by typing
  99.                             C:
  100.                             MD C:\VINOFILE
  101.                             CD C:\VINOFILE
  102.                             A:LHA e A:VF1
  103.                 *    if you are using 5.25" disks place Disk 2 in your
  104.                      disk drive, otherwise leave Disk 1. Then type
  105.                             A:LHA e A:VF2
  106.                             COPY A:VINOREAD.ME C:\VINOFILE
  107.                      assuming that your floppy disk is drive A.

  109.            To  install  the  VINO:FILE  Cellar  Master  program
  110.            (Shareware Version) from a BBS archive:
  111.                 *    make a directory for VINO:FILE on your  hard  disk
  112.                      drive;
  113.                 *    place  BOTH archived  VINO:FILE  files   in   that
  114.                      directory;
  115.                 *    unarchive  the  files  using  UNPAK  (.ARC),  UNZIP
  116.                      (.ZIP)  or  LHA  (.LZH)  etc  depending  on  the
  117.                      archive version used on the BBS;
  118.                 *    delete the archives.

  121.         STARTING VINO:FILE WITH THE SAMPLE DATABASE
  122.  
  123.            VINO:FILE comes with a sample wine database and  cross  reference
  124.            file so that you can get a feel for the program as  soon  as  you
  125.            have installed it on your hard drive.

  127.            To start  VINO:FILE  and  load  up  the  samples  change  to  the
  128.            directory on your hard disk where  you  installed  VINO:FILE  and
  129.            type:

  134.         PRINTING THE VINO:FILE MANUAL

  136.            To print the documentation on almost any printer type
  137.                      COPY VINOFILE.TXT LPT1:
  138.

  140.            You will find that the formatting and pagination of the on-disk
  141.            manual occasionally looks a little odd. This is because the
  142.            formatting is optimized for the printed manual which you will
  143.            receive when you register. I apologize for this, but if you
  144.            register I think you will agree that it was worth it.

  147.         LHA DECOMPRESSION PROGRAM
  148.  
  149.            When distributed on diskette, VINO:FILE files are compressed
  150.            using the shareware program LHA - a copy of which is included
  151.            on the diskette.
